Privacy

Spiritual Sentience, operated by Aminah (Ami), collects the information you provide when you contact us, book a session, purchase a guide, register interest or submit feedback. This can include your name, email, optional phone number, order and payment status, scheduling preferences, session intentions, accessibility preferences, feedback and publication choices. Astrology bookings may include birth date, birth time and birthplace. Please provide only what is needed; do not send medical records, payment-card details in a form, or private information about someone else.

We use this information to fulfill purchases, prepare and arrange sessions, communicate about bookings, provide requested resources, deliver the feedback reward, respond to requests, maintain records and improve this work. Publication permission and marketing signup are separate choices. Submitting feedback does not require a positive review or permission to publish.

Squarespace provides website, commerce, form and email-campaign functions. Payment providers process checkout payment details. Eventbrite processes event registrations made through its platform; Tally processes information submitted through Tally forms. Email and online-session providers process information needed to deliver those communications and appointments. Information is shared as needed for those purposes, for legal obligations or to protect lawful rights. External platforms have their own privacy practices.

The site uses essential cookies and optional analytics/customization cookies. Use Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies, and reopen Cookie Preferences to change your choice. Those controls apply to supported website cookies; they do not necessarily control external services or every browser tracking mechanism. A browser Do Not Track signal is not a substitute for these choices.

Booking and consent records are retained for service administration, legal obligations, accounting and disputes; applicable complementary-practice acknowledgments must be retained for at least three years. Information is not kept indefinitely merely for convenience. Requests for access, correction or deletion can be sent to aminah@spiritualsentience.com; some records may need to be retained for legal or transaction reasons. Unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email. Essential purchase and appointment messages may still be sent.

We use platform access controls and limit use of client information to the purposes described here. No website or communication system can guarantee absolute security. This site is not intended to collect information from children under 13. For a participant under 18, contact us before purchasing so suitability and guardian consent can be addressed.

Purchases & cancellations

Private appointments require upfront payment and completed intake at least seven days ahead. Provide at least three preferred times and your time zone. Payment does not confirm a requested time or venue; written confirmation establishes the appointment. In-person prices include the booked space in San Diego or Chicago, subject to availability. If we cannot accommodate your booking, you receive a full refund.

To cancel or reschedule a confirmed private appointment, email aminah@spiritualsentience.com at least 72 hours before its confirmed start time. The confirmed appointment time zone applies. With timely notice, you may request a refund or rescheduling. Late cancellations and missed appointments count as used, including the affected appointment in a series. Arriving late may shorten the appointment because the venue or following appointment may prevent extending it. Please contact us promptly if illness, an accessibility issue or an emergency affects participation; statutory rights and required accommodations remain available.

If Spiritual Sentience cancels an appointment, you may choose a new date or a refund for the affected unused appointment and its unused enhancements. If an appointment is materially interrupted by our technical or venue problem, contact us to arrange replacement time or an appropriate refund. We do not charge you for a session we cannot deliver. Refunds are returned through the original purchase channel; bank processing times vary.

Series are prepaid appointments, scheduled individually. Three appointments save 10%; five save 15%. An unused appointment is valued at the amount actually paid for that appointment, including its series discount. Timely cancellation of an appointment does not forfeit the rest of a series. Contact us regarding unused appointments or a change in circumstances; no undisclosed expiry or retroactive cancellation fee will be imposed. Enhancements must match the service, format and appointment count. Integration follow-up is separately scheduled.

Event dates, venue, inclusions, age requirements and cancellation terms are stated on the specific registration page. Review those terms before buying through Eventbrite. A venue is not an organizer or cohost unless expressly identified as such. If an event is cancelled or materially changed, applicable refund rights and the stated registration policy apply. Private-session cancellation terms do not automatically apply to event tickets.

Digital guides are delivered electronically as described on their product pages. They are licensed for the purchaser’s personal use, not resale, redistribution or public uploading. Contact us for an inaccessible, missing, damaged or incorrect file, duplicate purchase or refund concern. Mandatory consumer rights remain available; no blanket waiver of those rights is created by downloading a guide.

The feedback reward gives 10% off one eligible private appointment, with no expiry and one redemption per customer email. Packages and enhancements are excluded. The reward is for completing required feedback questions, regardless of sentiment; publication permission and marketing signup are optional. One-per-email limits do not amount to identity verification.

Contact us promptly about an order problem so we can investigate. These terms do not prevent lawful payment disputes, honest reviews or other non-waivable consumer rights. Changes apply prospectively; the terms shown at purchase govern that purchase.

Participation & consent

Aminah (Ami), founder of Spiritual Sentience, holds Reiki certification from Chicago MSI Healing Center. Reiki is offered within a traditional spiritual framework of intention and energy awareness; meditation uses guided attention and reflection, sound uses live instruments, and astrology uses symbolic chart interpretation. These services are complementary spiritual or contemplative practices, not licensed medical or mental-health treatment. Reiki certification is not a medical license. No diagnosis, cure or specific outcome is promised. Astrology does not replace medical, legal or financial advice or guarantee future events. Do not discontinue prescribed treatment based on a session.

Movement, sound and inward attention can bring physical discomfort, sensory discomfort or difficult emotions. Choose a comfortable position and intensity. You may decline, adapt, pause or stop any practice and decline personal sharing. Tell Ami about relevant preferences or accommodations without providing unnecessary medical history. Seek appropriate professional advice when needed about suitability. These services are not crisis or emergency care.

Touch is optional and requires specific permission at the time. Agreeing to book is not blanket consent to physical contact. Client and practitioner boundaries must be respected. Neither participant may record an appointment without prior express agreement. A group setting cannot guarantee that other participants will keep shared information confidential; share only what feels appropriate.

Permission to publish a testimonial, name, photograph or recording must be obtained separately. Booking consent does not authorize promotional use. If you choose to provide an optional testimonial, we will respect the publication choice you provide and will not change the meaning of your words. When a feedback reward was offered, any resulting published testimonial should clearly disclose that incentive.

Ask questions before participating. A required booking acknowledgment records receipt of the service disclosure and acceptance of the booking terms; it does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
